Northern Cricket Union appoint new Public Relations Officer
NCU The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) has appointed David Morton as their new Public Relations Officer. David was formally appointed at the NCU Board meeting on the 19th June 2012. Following the appointment, David said; 'I am delighted to be appointed as the new PRO for the Northern Cricket Union. This is an exciting time to be involved in Irish Cricket and I am thoroughly looking forward to working for the NCU. I look forward to promoting the excellent work being carried out at all levels throughout the Union and within the clubs of the NCU. I would encourage everyone to please get in touch and let me know the good work you are doing so we can publicise this.' Chairman of the Northern Cricket Union, Brian Walsh said; ‘I am delighted to welcome David to the job of PRO of the NCU. It is an important position that we have been keen to fill for some time as we feel it is important to keep our clubs and the public informed about what is happening in local cricket. There is a lot of great work being done by volunteers and coaches to improve and develop the sport’.
