Last Sunday, 13th October saw the third of our Regional Development Squads begin their Winter Programme when the two Under 13 groups met at University of Ulster, Jordanstown.

NCU & Ireland Under 13 Coach Michael Hingston was in charge along with Colin Hunter, Simon Johnston and NCU Development Officer Nigel Jones and some photographs of the groups in action are included here.

The creation of a ‘Representative Cricket Directorate’ at the recent AGM means that we now have a structure responsible for overseeing the development of our players from the Under 11 age-group right through to the Northern Knights Inter-Provincial side.

With the Under 11s starting this coming Sunday and an Under 17 group to be selected for sessions in December under Northern Knights Coaches Eugene Moleon and Gavin Rodgers assisted by NCU Development Officer Nigel Jones, we feel we will be in a strong position to take our players forward into the New-Year sessions and preparation for the 2014 season.
