Cricket Ireland - NCU ‘Play Smart’ Workshops 2014
Nigel Jones Cricket Ireland in conjunction with the Northern Cricket Union is once again offering the highly regarded Play Smart Coaching workshops. This year after gathering feedback and listening to various requests from clubs we have decided to focus specifically on Coach Education. We are delighted to announce we will be running the following workshop - *How to get the most out of training sessions/what does a “good” club training night look like* The workshop will involve Nigel Jones, Andy McCrea, Eugene Moleon, Michael Hingston and Simon Johnston running a youth training night at a NCU club for the evening. They will aim to give anyone attending an idea into what a good training session should/could look like. We will be running the same workshop at three different clubs throughout the NCU on three different evenings to logistically give all active coaches in the NCU region an opportunity to attend at least one of these workshops. Workshop 1 Date: Times: Workshop 2 Date: Times: Workshop 3 Date: Times: At this stage we would like to invite as many people as we can to these workshops. Not just necessarily club coaches, captains, players etc. All are welcome. We completely understand that in a lot of NCU clubs not one person runs training evenings. So therefore we want to make sure we give the opportunity to the right people who are actively on the ground running their clubs current ‘nets’ evenings. Confirmation: VERY IMPORTANT!!!! For further information on the workshops please feel free to contact me on my details outlined below and I look forward to receiving your clubs nominations for places on the above workshops (please remember to include contact details) by Friday 1st August. Kind Regards Nigel Jones |
