Holders RBAI are through to the last eight of the Ulster Bank Ulster Schools cup with a run-affected four wicket win over Regent House and will now host Belfast High School for a place in the semi-finals.

The two best performances of the round came from Belfast Royal Academy's Jack Burton and Andrew Forbes. Burton was undefeated on 75 as his side posted 147 for 6 against Ballyclare High School and Forbes hit the stumps four times in succession as Ballyclare slumped to a 101 run defeat.

Campbell College's second string continued their cup run with with a narrow 1-0 bowlout victory over Royal School Dungannon.
