Civil Service North of Ireland Cricket Club (CSNI) will be hosting its annual Coaching Camp week from Monday 27th July with Mark Garraway as the guest Coach for this year.

The popular coaching camp which is open to boys from other cricket clubs as well as CSNI will be led by Mark Garraway. Mark is the former High Performance Director of Cricket at Cricket Ireland and is currently the Senior Cricket Coach at Millfield School.

The coaching camp will focus on all aspects of the game, both mentally and physically, and is suitable for boys aged 10-17 who along with Mark will be coached by some of the finest coaches in the Northern Cricket Union.

Speaking on the run up to the Coaching Camp, CSNI Chairman, Ivan McMinn: "This year's coaching camp will be bigger and better than ever and thanks must be extended to Belfast City Council for their invaluable financial and operational assistance as we continue to make this such a successful weeklong event for our local community."

The Camp will be split into U11, U13 and U15/17 age groups and last year's was attended by boys from six local clubs. Other coaches taking part include; Eugene Moleon, Northern Knights coach, Keith Cartwrtight, Level 3 Coach, Simon Johnston, Ireland Youth coach, CSNI trio, Andrew Cowden, Mansoor Amjad and Shane Getkate.

Mike Hodgins, who helped organise the Camp said: "We are thrilled to have been able to add Mark Garraway to the coaching roster for this year's camp. I think you'd have to go a long way to find a more talented coaching panel for a young aspiring cricketer. The opportunity to work with this group in a week long intensive environment is just too good an opportunity to miss for young local cricketers who want to improve their game."
