Cricket Ireland has recently appointed Simon Johnston to the role of Active Clubs Coordinator for the Northern Cricket Union. As a launch to this programme, two information evenings have been arranged that will provide more detail around the programme and it's activation.

Launch Evening 1
Date: Monday 5th October
Time: 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Venue: Stormont Pavilion, Belfast
Invited Clubs: Academy, Ards, Ballymena, Bangor, BISC, Carrickfergus, Cliftonville, CIYMS, Cregagh, Cooke Collegians, CSNI, Derriaghy, Donaghadee, Dunmurry, Holywood, Instonians, Larne, Lisburn, Muckamore, North Down, PSNI/Newforge, Templepatrick and Woodvale

Launch Evening 2
Date: Tuesday 6th October
Time: 7.00pm – 8.30pm
Venue: Seagoe Hotel, Portadown
Invited Clubs: Armagh, Donaghcloney, Downpatrick, Drumaness, Dundrum, Dungannon, Laurelvale, Lurgan, Millpark, Monaghan, Saintfield, Victoria and Waringstown

Attendance to the above is FREE OF CHARGE.

Additionally, Michael Hingston – Cricket Ireland's Coach Development Manager -  will also be in attendance and will be presenting informally about the current situation and upcoming plans for Coach Education in the Northern Cricket Union.

Clubs are invited to send two representatives to their allocated evening. As an incentive, those clubs that do send two representatives will secure two FREE places on both an upcoming Welcome to Cricket coaching course and a Club Development Planning workshop, organised and delivered by Cricket Ireland.
