Four NCU ladies make Toyota Super 3s squads
Kyle Weir There are four NCU representatives in the Super 3s squads for the 2016 running of the competition. The Super 3s is Ireland's flagship domestic competition for female cricketers and this year has signed a new sponsorship deal with Toyota Ireland. The competition takes place through the season in 50 over format between three sides, with Hannah Grieve of Lurgan and Cara Murray of Saintfield being chosen to represent the Scorchers, while Waringstown's Naomi Matthews and North Down's Natasha Morton will be lining out for the Typhoons. There NCU has also been chosen to host one of the games, with a game between the Dragons and Scorchers taking place at Downpatrick on Sunday 15th May. The series concludes with a T20 tournament taking place at Leinster C.C. on the weekend of the 16 and 17th July. |
