The Northern Knights have announced their squad for their opening match of the Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial 50 Over Cup against Leinster Lightning at Stormont on Bank Holiday Monday (2nd May). The match starts at 10:45am.

With the match being played so early in the season and selected before any league matches have taken place, the selectors have selected one overseas player, Mansoor Amjad from CSNI who played in the NCU last year. 

The team is made up of four players from Waringstown and two each from CSNI, North Down and CIYMS.

In the absence of James Shannon for this one match Nigel Jones will captain the team.

James McCollum and Robert McKinley were unavailable for selection; they are both involved with university exams.
