UKCC ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults Course in January/February 2017
Simon Johnston Cricket Ireland are running an ECB level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young people and adults course in January/Feb 2017. Please see below for details of the course and how to register. Coaching Course details The UKCC ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults Course is a qualification that aims to further develop and certify the coaching that people are currently undertaking at club or school. The course develops some of the skills that were introduced on the Cricket Ireland Welcome to Coaching Course by giving people a chance to practice Micro-group / Peer coaching and it also delves deeper into the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of the game.
Dates, Times and Venues: Cost: £250 (incl. CICA membership for 2017) and all cheques are to be sent to the following address: On arrival at Campbell College (Intro evening only): Drive up facing the main school building, turn right at the junction and follow the road down the hill and park in the car park on the left hand side. A tutor will be there to direct you into the Technology Block. On arrival at Wallace High School: Come in through the main gate, park in the car park in front of the school. Walk through the tunnel that is to the right of the main doors, keep walking through into the courtyard. Go up the steps at the end of the court yard and follow the signs for the sports centre / music department. We'll hopefully have people there to meet and greet you to direct you where to go. Equipment required: Sportswear and trainers as (injury / health permitting) you'll be taking part in cricket drills, games and exercises. Bring a pen and a notepad as well if you would like to take down some notes on the day. You will also receive an ECB Level 2 Folder and Workbook to complete plus you will be signed on to the ECB eLearning Platform plus also get access to the outstanding iCoach Coaching Resource. Lunch: Lunch is not provided so please bring your own food for the 3 full days. You will typically get 30-45 minutes for lunch to get something from a local shop.
