It has come to our attention after reviewing our records and through general conversations with clubs around the release of the new NCU Emerging Accreditation Scheme that there is a real and urgent need for a number of courses to be made available to our clubs - please see further details outlined below.

Course information

The following courses are being provided through central funding at NO expense to clubs or individuals in attendance.

First Aid courses:

Thursday 16th February
First Aid Course
Location:  Club House Room @ Ulster University Jordanstown (please report to the Sports Institute reception on arrival) 
Time:  6-9pm

Monday 20th March
First Aid Course
Location:  Pavilion @ Stormont (please report to main reception on arrival)
Time:  6-9pm 

Child Protection and Safeguarding courses:

Tuesday 7th March
Child Protection and Safeguarding Course 
Location:  Oak Room @ Lisburn Civic Centre, Lisburn
Time:  6-9pm 

Thursday 9th March 
Child Protection and Safeguarding Course
Location:  Seminar Room @ Ulster University Jordanstown (please report to the Sports Institute reception on arrival)

Child Welfare Designated Officer Training courses:

Please note: A governance/best practice requirement of the new NCU Emerging Accreditation Scheme – all NCU clubs must have at least two trained members acting as their club's point of contact(s).

Location:  Seminar Room @ Ulster University Jordanstown (please report to the Sports Institute reception on arrival)

For course registration please email Nigel Jones, Regional Development Officer at nigel.jones@cricketireland.ie with the following information clearly detailed:

• Name of person in attendance
• Their contact number and email address
• Club associated with
• Which course(s) and date(s) the individual wishes to attend (a confirmation email will be emailed to the individual) 

Note:  places are limited to 2 people per club per course so please register at your earliest opportunity - all courses are capped at 20 per course.
