Ulster Bank Schools Cup 2017 - Semi-Final Draw

Last year's runners-up Royal Belfast Academical Instution have received a home draw against Friends School Lisburn in the semi-finals of the Ulster Bank Schools Cup.

The only North West side left in the competition, Foyle College, will be at home in the other semi-final against either Wallace High School or Bangor Grammar School who play on Friday (June 2).

Holders Belfast Royal Academy were knocked out in the second round by Foyle College who clinched their place in the semi-finals with a convincingĀ  109-run win over Campbell College.

RBAI and Friends School also secured their semi-final places with comfortable victories: RBAI defeated Down High School by nine wickets and Friends went one better with a 10 wicket win over Ballymena Academy.

Quarter final scores were:
Foyle College 210-7 (K Magee 105, W Finlay 60, H Minford 3-48, J Bonner 3-33)
Campbell College 91 (A Jonston 44, S Wightman 20, G McFaul 2-7, B Mills 3-6, J Cole 2-10)
Foyle College beat Campbell College by 119 runs

Down HS 109 (T Hutley 32, D Robinson 3-12, M Fleetham 2-7, B Rose 2-35)
RBAI 113-1 (J Waite 49no, B Rose 33)
RBAI beat Down HS by 9 wickets
