The Northern Cricket Union has announced the Northern Knights squads for their first home fixtures in the 2017 Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Series. The games are against Leinster Lightning in the Inter-Provincial 50 Series (IP50) and Inter-Provincial Championship (IPC).

Current champions in all three formats of the Inter-Provincial Series Leinster Lightning include Ireland Internationals Kevin O'Brien, Ed Joyce, George Dockrell and Andrew Balbirnie in their squad.

The Northern Knights will be captained by James Shannon in the forthcoming fixtures. John Matchett is included for the first time in the Northern Knights squad after impressing in recent Emerging Knights fixtures.

Unavailable for selection were Jacob Mulder (injury), and Greg Thompson for the IP Championship fixture due to work commitments.
