The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) Under 11 squad (sponsored by PwC) are currently undertaking a tour to Taunton (King's College), England, to compete in the Under 11 Cricket Festival.

In the opening fixture on Sunday 23rd of July the NCU side won an exciting game by one wicket against California Cricket Academy (USA), with only one over to spare.

California Cricket Academy scored 132 for 6 in their 20 overs with Angus Carson 2 for 6, Lorcan Donnelly 2 for 26, Daniel Henry 1 for 21 and Ross Minford 1 for 25 claiming the wickets.

In response Ryan Hunter held the NCU innings together with 32 from 33 balls.
