The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) announces partnership with PwC
The Northern Cricket Union is delighted to announce that professional advisory firm PwC will sponsor its boys' and girls' youth squads as part of a 3-year sponsorship deal. The sponsorship will see the PwC logo displayed on NCU youth playing shirts as well as being attached to associated match reports for relevant squads. We have ambitious plans for the development and growth of our youth programmes. With the support of PwC, we can continue to support our talented young boys and girls as they strive for provincial and future international representative opportunities. It's an exciting time for cricket and I thank PwC for their continued support." Confirming the partnership, Paul Terrington, PwC regional chairman in Northern Ireland, said: "Encouraging young people to become involved in sport is important for both health and fitness, but games like cricket help develop team working, reliance and communications skills, all of which are a vital preparation for life and work. We're particularly keen to support activities that are open to both girls and boys, so we're very happy to partner with the Northern Cricket Union, over the next three years in supporting the youth squads."
