All-Ireland T20 Draw Completed

Cricket Ireland

The draw has been made for the All Ireland T20 finals day later this month. In the semi-finals, Waringstown meet Bready while in the other tie, Clontarf take on Cork County.

The Waringstown versus Bready clash is a repeat of the 2014 Ulster Cup final when the Magheramason side shocked the NCU kingpins. Bready were convincing winners of the NW Faughan Cup final, beating Ardmore in the semi-final by 8 wickets, then Coleraine in the final by 9 wickets - Irosh Samarasooriya and David Rankin scoring half centuries.

Hosts Waringstown have been in scintillating form in T20 cricket with their all-round strength to the fore. They ran out convincing winners over Instonians in the semi-final before beating old foes North Down in the decider, as former Irish international James Hall hit an unbeaten 101.

That game takes place at the Lawn, while the other semi-final will see Clontarf face Cork County at Wallace Park at the same time.

Clontarf beat The Hills in the Leinster semi-final before edging out Pembroke in the final, winning a last-ball thriller by three runs. Cork County won the Munster decider in convincing fashion, beating rivals Cork Harlequins by seven wickets as they chased down a modest 81 target.

The final is scheduled to take place at The Lawn, starting at 4pm (approx.).
