Northern Cricket Union - Ulster Cup Finals Day
Richard White NCU PRO The Ulster Cup Finals Day takes place in The Northern Cricket Union, on Sunday 13th August. This competition is between the finalists of the Twenty20 competitions contested by Top Tier cricket clubs in the Northern Cricket Union and North West Cricket Union. Semi-Final Fixtures • North Down v Bready at The Green, Comber (11:30am) The final will take place at The Green, Comber (North Down CC) at 4pm The Road to the Ulster Cup Finals Day In the final of the NCU Lagan Valley Steels Twenty20 Cup Waringstown defeated North Down by 26 runs, with a stunning undefeated century from James Hall (101 not out). Bready beat Coleraine by nine wickets in the final of the North-West Cricket Union's Faughan Valley Cup, with undefeated half centuries from David Rankin (54 not out) and Irosh Samarasooriya (66 not out). Supporters from the four participating clubs, and all other cricket followers from across the Northern Cricket Union and North-West Cricket Union and beyond will be warmly welcomed to both The Green, Comber and The Demesne, Saintfield. |
