Back to cricket for the NCU Youth squads in Cape Town
Richard White NCU PRO Andy McCrea Reports Today, while the Senior squad trained under Table Mountain at Western Province Cricket Club, the Junior team travelled to the very hospitable and friendly St Augustine's Cricket Club. Archie Johnston showed his experience with a well crafted 76 off 82 balls. He was backed up by James Rose with a run a ball 26, Matthew Humphreys with 24 and then an excellent lower order partnership between Ethan Hanna (17) and Michael Waite (22). Spinner Matthew Humphreys picked up 2 wickets for 29 runs while Carson McCullough, Rory Ellerby and Ethan Hanna all got a wicket each.
