Irish Senior Cup First Round
Semi Finalists from last season Instonians and holders Waringstown receive a bye in the First Round of the competition. The tie of the round featuring an NCU team is at Belmont where CIYMS take on Leinster Premier League side North County. CSNI travel to Magheramason to play the Premier League leaders in the North West, Bready. Newcomers to the NCU Premier League Armagh, welcome Leinster's Second Division frontrunners Balbriggan to The Mall.

Irish National Cup First Round
Templepatrick host last year's beaten finalists Terenure, at The Cloughan, and Laurelvale also have home advantage against Leinster side DLR County. The remainder of the ties featuring NCU clubs are against North West opposition. Last year's semi-finalists Derriaghy travel to Drummond, and Cregagh host Newbuildings. Holywood take on Sion Mills, the Qualifying League 1 outfit, at Seapark, and Lisburn make the journey to Bonds Glen.

Junior Cup (sponsored by GMcG)
The Junior Cup also starts this weekend with 5 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday (due to Templepatrick and Cliftonville Academy playing in the Irish National Cup) and one on Sunday week. Waringstown 2s and 3s meet for the second time in a number of weeks while last year's beaten finalists CSNI 2s face a tricky trip to Saintfield who have won their first two league games. There are 2 all Section 2 games as Ballymena host BISC and Drumaness entertain Cooke Collegians (the latter starting at noon). On Sunday Belfast SuperKings and Larne face tricky away trips to Templepatrick and Cliftonville Academy. The one game being played on Sunday week is CIYMS 2s against Monaghan.
