Gallagher Senior Challenge Cup

The first round of the Gallagher Senior Challenge Cup takes place on Saturday with defending champions CIYMS having home advantage against Armagh.

Last seasons beaten finalists Instonians play Section 1 side Cregagh in a Belfast derby. Due to ongoing problems at Cregagh's ground this game has now been switched to Shaw's Bridge.

There will definitely be two teams from Section 1 in the quarter final draw as Bangor take on Downpatrick and he biggest crowd of the day could be at Queensway where Derriaghy play host to near neighbours Lisburn (12noon start).

Section 1's Woodvale and Donacloney Mill travel to take on Premier League opposition in Waringstown (11am start) and North Down respectively.

The only all Premier League tie is at Stormont where CSNI meet Carrickfergus.

Holywood have made a good start to their Section 1 season, and will look forward to the challenge of playing Premier League side and 2017 semi-finalists Muckamore, at Seapark (11am start).
