• August 14th - NCU Under 11'S v Leinster Under 11, at Templepatrick Cricket Club
• August 16th - NCU Under 11'S v Leinster Under 11, in the Leinster Region (Venue TBC)

Speaking about the summer ahead for the Under 11's lead coach Andy McCrea said, 'The NCU is delighted to announce the fourteen players that we have selected to represent the NCU in the 2018 summer programme. We congratulate them on their selection and wish them every success throughout the season ahead. However, we must also congratulate the other young cricketers who attended the winter training sessions with enthusiasm, and displayed their skills on a consistent basis.

We are mindful that young sports people develop at different ages, and look forward to following everyone's development at school, club, and Inter-Provincial level as this season and the coming seasons unfold. The NCU is grateful to all of the Under 11 cricketers for their commitment to the cricket sessions, and their willingness and desire to improve, and doing so in an enjoyable fashion. 

We are also grateful to the commitment invested by the parents of the cricketers' and the coaches who have given of their time to help to develop skills'.

• 6th and 7th August - West of Scotland Cricket U13 Festival, Ayr, Scotland 
• 8th August - NCU Under 13's v Cricket Leinster in the NCU region (Venue TBC) 
• 10th August - NCU Under 13's v Cricket Leinster in Leinster region (Venue TBC)

Callum Atkinson, NCU Cricket Development Officer said, 'It has been another busy but progressive winter for our Under 13 players. Both our development squad and regional squad have gained plenty of opportunity to maintain and improve their skills at Ulster University. This wouldn't have been possible without the supporting coaches who sacrificed most Sunday's for training. 

We feel we have a strong group of players who have worked hard during the winter and are now looking forward to competing during the summer in the West of Scotland Cricket Festival as well as a two match series against Leinster'.

Commenting on the summer programme, Uel Graham, Cricket Operations Manager, NCU, said, 'It is a credit to all involved that we have been able to compile such a varied and challenging programme for our junior squads. We are continually working with our network of coaches and administrators to continually enhance these programmes'.
