RBAI to face rivals MCB in Ulster Bank Schools' Cup Final
Royal Belfast Academical Institution (RBAI) set up a 'Belfast derby' Ulster Bank Schools' Cup Final against rivals Methodist College, after beating Limavady Grammar School by 118 runs in the semi-final. The holders batted first and scored 238 for 8 wickets, with James Metcalfe (64), and Jonathan Waite (53) scoring half centuries. Graeme Kennedy took three wickets for Limavady GS, and then top scored with 26 runs, as the North West side were bowled out for 120. Ben Rose took three wickets, with Sam McLarnon and Matthew Peak taking two each, for RBAI. The Ulster Bank Schools' Cup Final is scheduled to be played on Friday 15th June, at Moylena, home of Muckamore Cricket Club. |
