The Northern Cricket Union (NCU) has announced a squad of thirteen players, sponsored by PwC, for the upcoming Under 17 Inter-Provincial Series to be held within the NCU, from the 2nd to 6th July 2018.

Nigel Jones, Regional Development Manager commented, 'Congratulations to those selected for the U17 Inter-Provincial tournament at the beginning of July, and commiserations to those who have missed out on final squad selection. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the wider squad players for their involvement and general commitment to the regional programme, and to wish them well for the remainder of the 2018 cricket season.

No doubt there were some difficult decisions around selection, however we feel that a well-balanced and exciting squad has been selected to represent the NCU from the 2nd to the 6th July, in Belfast. 

Harry Warke will once again captain his province at Under 17 level and he will have no fewer than five squad members from the 2017 series to support him, and those coming up from Under 15 level, or new into this environment. We (the coaching group) look forward to supporting the players with their cricket over the week and wish them well as they strive for tournament success.'

• Monday July 2nd: NCU Under 17 v Southern XI, at Belmont (CIYMS CC), 50 overs, 11am Start
• Tuesday July 3rd: NCU Under 17 v Leinster, at Belmont (CIYMS CC), 50 overs, 11am Start
• Thursday July 5th: NCU Under 17 v North West, at Middle Road, (Carrickfergus CC), 20 overs, 10am Start
• Thursday July 5th: NCU Under 17 v Southern XI, at Campbell College School, Belfast, 20 overs, 2:30pm Start
• Friday July 6th: NCU Under 17 v Leinster, at Campbell College School, Belfast, 20 overs, 11am Start

It is anticipated that all matches will be scored live, ball by ball, on 'My Cricket Ireland' app.
