David Scanlon took four wickets as the Northern Knights were bowled out in their first innings for 188.

William Porterfield dominated the North West Warriors second innings, with a majestic 152, including 15 fours and five maximums.

The Warriors declared seven wickets down on 303, with Harry Tector the pick of the Knights bowling, taking four for seventy.

With nine overs to face at the end of day 2, the Knights were reduced to 28 for 2, losing the wickets of Chris Dougherty and Marc Ellison.
