The North West Warriors defeated the Northern Knights by 140 runs today to win the 2018 Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Championship. The North West Warriors win ended Leinster Lightning's search for six titles in a row.

Four wickets from Andrew McBrine, and three from David Scanlon made sure the Knights were bowled out for 201 in their second innings.

James McCollum (48), Matthew McCord (46), and Shane Getkate (31) top scored for the Northern Knights.

The Northern Knights have one remaining fixture to play in this seasons Hanley Energy Inter-Provincial Championship, against Leinster Lightning, at Malahide, starting on September 4th.
