NCU, Ulster and Irish T20 Weekend League Fixtures (17th / 18th / 19th August)
There are games involving CIYMS and Waringstown in the Robinson Services Premier League run in, and Waringstown also play in the Irish Twenty 20 Finals. Robinson Services Premier League Muckamore and North Down start the Robinson Services Premier League action this weekend, when they meet in a re-arranged fixture (Match 2 - 20 overs) at Moylena tomorrow evening. Armagh host North Down, at The Mall, on Saturday, followed by a re-arranged fixture (Match 2 - 20 overs), against Carrickfergus the following day. These are must win games for the hosts in their fight against relegation. Elsewhere CIYMS travel to Stormont to face CSNI, on Saturday, in pursuit of the league title, and there is a mid table clash at Shaw's Bridge as Instonians play Carrickfergus. In the reverse fixture last weekend, Carrickfergus were the winners by only four runs. Waringstown, involved in the Irish Twenty 20 Finals day on Saturday, play CSNI on Sunday, as they try to keep pace with CIYMS. Friday Fixture

Irish Twenty 20 Finals On Saturday, the finals of the Irish Twenty 20 competition takes place, involving the four provincial winners. The NCU representatives are Waringstown, winners of the Lagan Valley Steels Twenty 20 Cup. They face a semi-final against Brigade (North West), at Beechgrove (11am), with the winners playing Clontarf (Leinster) or Cork County (Munster), in the final at Bready Cricket Club, at 4pm.
Ulster Plate Final On Sunday Muckamore II travel to the Holm, Donemana to play Donemana II, in the final of the Ulster Plate.
Ireland play Afghanistan in three T20 fixtures at Bready Cricket Club, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of next week. |
