Robinson Services Leagues - The top 2 in the Premier League, Waringstown and CIYMS, meet, Lisburn close in on the Section 1 title and Templepatrick are one win away from the Section 2 trophy.

Robinson Services Premier League

It is a pivotal weekend in the Robinson Services Premier League with the big game taking place at The Lawn on Saturday, as Waringstown play CIYMS.

The holiday weekend was due to begin on Thursday evening as CSNI were to host Armagh in a twenty over (Match 2) contest, which Armagh need to win to keep alive any hope of Premier League cricket next season. However, the match has been postponed due to concerns over possible damage to the International pitch for the Ireland v Afghanistan matches.

On Friday evening North Down play Carrickfergus at The Green in another Match 2 scenario.

There is a full programme on Saturday with Armagh travelling to Shaw's Bridge to play Instonians, Carrickfergus host Muckamore at Middle Road to complete their season, North Down take on CSNI at The Green and the top of the table clash between Waringstown and CIYMS takes place at The Lawn.

On Sunday there is an East Belfast derby at Belmont with CIYMS playing CSNI, and Waringstown are at The Lawn against Muckamore.

Robinson Services League Section 1

In Section 1 Lisburn remain top by 4 points with their nearest challengers Bangor and Holywood meeting at Uprichard Park. Lurgan lifted themselves out of the relegation zone in Section 1 with their win over Cregagh on Tuesday evening. However, they face a stiff test on Saturday when they travel to Wallace Park to take on the aforementioned league leaders Lisburn.

Robinson Services League Section 2

In Section 2 Templepatrick play their last game of the season at home to Dundrum on Sunday knowing that a win against the bottom club will secure the Section 2 trophy. Cliftonville Academy will join Templepatrick in Section 1 next year if they win both their weekend fixtures against Cooke Collegians and BISC.
