Cricket Ireland and the Provincial Unions are keen to build the capacity of clubs to apply for funding.  To this end Cricket Ireland has commissioned '2 into 3' to deliver two important Masterclasses to clubs throughout Ireland.  '2 into 3' is a Dublin-based management consulting company with expertise in applying for funding.  They are assisted in Northern Ireland by Otium Leisure Consultancy.

The funding picture for Northern Ireland's sports clubs is challenging with opportunities seemingly limited and infrequent.  All the more reason for cricket clubs to clearly understand what funding is available, how to prepare for funding programmes and what makes an application stand out amongst all others.  The NCU is here to help and support clubs to avail of these opportunities, however clubs must also be 'ready, willing and able'.

'2 into 3' will run the first Masterclass on "Sports Funding" specifically for clubs in the Northern Cricket Union.  The details are outlined below:

Time - 6.30pm – 9.00pm at
Venue - Lagan Valley Island Civic Centre, Lisburn

The Masterclass will cover funding opportunities, getting ready for funding and preparing an application.  The event is free to attend.  The purpose is to enable more NCU cricket clubs to be able to respond to funding opportunities.  The outcome for clubs should be a better understanding of funding processes.
