The NCU Section One Club Derriaghy were the winners of a competition run by Cartwrights Sports.  They were one of a number of clubs who entered into the competition by placing their cricket ball business with Cartwrights Sports earlier in the year.

The Youth Coaching kit includes various types of coaching balls, cones, plastic cricket set, batting tees etc. which all fit into the large holdall included.  The kit retails at around £200.

Derriaghy club spokesman David Skelton said "We are delighted to have won this coaching kit.  It further enhances our coaching equipment greatly and will help our coaches deliver the necessary skills to our youth section.  We are grateful to Cartwrights Sports who we have done with business with over the last 5 years and will continue to do so".

Cartwrights Sports for their part will run the competition again next season – so get your orders in for a chance to win the prize!

There's also a chance for Clubs to win £100 of cricket balls with Cartwrights Sports – all you have to do is get a quote from them if your Club is applying for the Club Facilities Grant.  If the Club is awarded the grant and you finalise the business with Cartwrights Sports then you're in the draw!
