Cricket Ireland recently announced two new coaching courses designed to encourage people interested in getting into cricket coaching or looking to improve their skills and knowledge.

The Northern Cricket Union will be delivering both new courses in March and April this year.

Further details of both courses are outlined below:

Coaching Cricket Course
Dates: 30th & 31st March (Times to be confirmed)
Venue: Wallace High School
Cost: £80

The Cricket Ireland Coaching Cricket course is aimed at anyone who wants to coach club or school players aged over 11 years. The course is designed to provide new and emerging coaches with the knowledge and skills to deliver player-centred, enjoyable, and safe coaching support with an appropriate focus on cricket skills and long-term player development.

Coaching Kids 5-11 Years Course

Venue: Wallace High School
Cost: £40

The Cricket Ireland Coaching Kids 5-11 years course is aimed at parents, teachers, and young adults supporting cricketers aged 5-11 years. The course is designed to provide new and emerging coaches with the knowledge and skills to deliver child-centred, safe, fun, and age-appropriate coaching sessions.
