Simmonite looking forward to Toyota Super 3s season opener
The Toyota Super 3s Series – Ireland's premier women's domestic competition – will begin tomorrow (Sunday 19th May), as the sides shape up for a T20 tripleheader at North Kildare Cricket Club. There are three Northern Cricket Union players involved tomorrow: Cara Murray, Amy Hunter, and Naomi Matthews. NCU Women's Coach Tim Simmonite leads the Typhoons this season. The matches are:
The matches represent the last representative hit-out for the women's international players before Ireland meets West Indies in three T20Is on 26, 28 and 29 May 2019. The Dragons are the reigning Toyota Super 3s champions, and have named a 13-player squad for the two matches:
