The Northern Cricket Union have named their Under 13 Regional Development Squad (sponsored by PwC), for eight fixtures throughout July and August. The unprecedented number of games will be against the North West and Leinster Cricket Unions, and a tour to Ayr, Scotland. The NCU is grateful for the continued support by PwC of the Regional Development Squad programme.

Allan Rutherford, Director of NCU Representative Cricket commented, 'This year the Under 13's have an expanded series of 8 games. It is important that we have the appropriate pathways for young players. The NCU has worked hard to ensure competitive cricket both at home, and a tour to Scotland, to ensure that every year we are giving our players the best possible chance to improve and develop their skills.

A special thank you goes to the coaching team who have been working with thirty cricketers since January in preparation for what will be a very demanding and competitive summer.

The NCU is grateful to all the Under 13 cricketers for their commitment to the cricket sessions, and their willingness and desire to improve, and doing so in an enjoyable fashion.
