Waringstown's Naomi Matthews has been named in the Cricket Ireland Women's squad for fixtures against the England Women's Academy side. They will play in three T20 matches from 16th to 18th July 2019, as part of its preparations for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global Qualifier in August.

Interim Head Coach Ed Joyce's side will play three T20 fixtures that have been organised as part of a replacement programme of matches following the cancellation of the Zimbabwe Women's tour last week.

• 17th July: Ireland Women v England Women's Academy at Millfield School, Somerset
• 18th July: Ireland Women v England Women's Academy at Millfield School, Somerset
