The NCU has released revised Disciplinary Bye-laws for 2020 which have been approved by the Board and have immediate effect.

The main changes to the Bye-laws are:

Child Safeguarding     New procedures are set out for dealing with cases involving Child Safeguarding issues. These include the power of interim suspension until the case is dealt with by the Disciplinary and/or the Appeals panels.

Level 4 Offences     There is now provision for the use of interim suspension until the case is dealt with by the Disciplinary and/or the Appeals panels.
