Minister's Letter to NCU (Surrey Loam)

There has been much coverage in the local media over the past few weeks in relation to transportation of Loam to Northern Ireland from Great Britain. The NCU are very appreciative for all the support and work that has been undertaken to resolve a potentially critical situation. The NCU has now received written confirmation from the Minister for Agriculture, which is attached.

Whilst social media has conveyed the outcomes, we would strongly recommend that clubs engage with their existing or prospective loam providers to ensure that current trading arrangements are not interrupted or negatively impacted by some of the speculation which has been prevalent.

Please note that any supplies of loam are for use only in Northern Ireland.
