The NCU Women have identified the 12 player squad who will be travelling to Fox Lodge CC on Sunday 1st August (12pm start) for the second Inter-Provincial game of the season. Having lost the first game, the team are determined to fulfil their potential with the bat and ball to draw the series 1-1.

The squad sees the return of players Cara Murray (after her return from injury), Amy Hunter and Hannah Grieve. In addition to Warringstown's Charlotte Lyons and Jennifer Hanna who were unable to play in the last game due to COVID-19 protocol.

Sunday's game is a 40 over contest which provides many opportunities for the players to perform in this longer format, something captain Amy Caulfield is looking forward to:

"As we traditionally play T20 in Premier League cricket in the NCU the players always look forward to longer format cricket in the Inter-Provincial Series. As a captain it's great for me to have fantastic bowling and batting strength in the squad and the 40 overs gives players plenty of opportunities in the game. We are hoping to step up our performance in this game and to learn from our last game."
