The draw for the semi-finals of the Gallagher Challenge Cup took place today at the Gallagher offices in Belfast. NCU Chief Executive Paddy Grimes was joined by NCU President Roger Bell and Managing Director of Gallagher Northern Ireland Shane Matthews, who assisted with the draw. The eagerly anticipated draw took place and first out of the hat was Section 1 club Derriaghy who got a home tie against CSNI. With the remaining semi-final now known, it was a case of who would get the home advantage and this went to Lisburn who will play defending champions of the competition CIYMS at Wallace Park. These are sure to be 2 entertaining games with all teams in good form and looking to book their spot in the final at Comber on 5th August. The semi-finals will take place on 9th July.
