Lead coach Barry Scott had this to say about the squad and the upcoming interpros

"It's great to get back to the normal format of the junior interpros, and credit to Albert van der Merwe and Cricket Ireland for that. As a group, we have been together now nearly 6 months and the guy's commitment and dedication has been fantastic. We are in a really good place and have a number of guys from last year still around. The boys are starting to know their game pretty well and we, as a coaching team, Jonny Parker and myself, are really looking forward to seeing how the guys go."

"Many of the players have made debuts in 1st XI cricket this season and hopefully that experience they have gained will benefit them for the 6 matches over the next 2 weeks.  As a group we have talked about how we want things to go and with some of the group involved in last year's competition win, they are keen to go out and show of their skills and match what we achieved last year. We are all looking forward to a good week of cricket and hope the weather plays ball. Lastly, good luck to all the other teams and we are looking forward to getting going on Monday against Munster."
