Lead coach Jonathan Waite had this to say about the squad ahead of their interprovincial fixtures

"It is fantastic to see the continued investment in women's and girl's cricket through the addition of the under 15 interpros for the first time. This will provide our panel of 18 girls the opportunity to showcase their talents over 6 games in the 20 over and 35 over formats. We have many players returning from the year before and this experience should help us build on the lessons from last year. Four 13-year-olds have made the squad, which is a testament to their clubs with the hard work that has put in over the winter months. We are looking forward to 2 weeks of competitive matches."
