Lead coach Andrew Cowden said this ahead of the interprovincial series

"I would first like to congratulate all 13 players on their selection for this year's U17 interprovincial series. We have had a fantastic winter programme with the wider squad to which development of the players has been very evident, along with their commitment, work ethic and desire to put themselves outside of their comfort zone to improve their game has been phenomenal."

"The squad was involved in four days of cricket during the Easter holidays before the club season started and many of the players have been involved in NCU U19 or Emerging games over the past fortnight in preparation of the series. It is also great for NCU cricket to see a high number of the players getting opportunities and performing in 1st XI cricket. I'm thoroughly looking forward to the series and seeing how this talented group of players perform against quality opposition and I'm sure they will all be relishing the opportunities ahead."
